My name is Blerim Mustafa and I am a Norwegian citizen currently residing in Geneva, Switzerland.
Since 2010, I have been based in Geneva after completing my Master’s Degree in International Relations (MA International Relations) specializing on the application of the right to self-determination and the extension of this important principle following Kosovo’s 2008 declaration of independence.
Before settling in Switzerland, I studied Political Science (BA Political Science) at Oslo University and I was also privileged to be engaged as an interim journalist for one of Norway’s leading newspapers, Verdens Gang (VG).
Most of the articles published on this blog, were written in my personal capacity while I was an independent freelance news reporter in Geneva. The articles were written in my spare time, and were published from September 2013 until June 2015. I was not associated as staff of the news agency and the articles are therefore not the property of the media outlet. The articles were submitted as independent contributions and were also cited by leading news publications in five countries (Kosovo, Macedonia, Serbia, Albania and Switzerland).
